Waylay is the number one IoT automation platform on the market. Now, we are bringing IoT insights to Salesforce. Waylay Digital Twin is a new Salesforce application that allows Salesforce users to bridge between the physical world and the Salesforce world. This application programs the Waylay IoT automation platform to process the raw IoT data from the customer’s physical assets. Waylay Digital Twin empowers Salesforce users to gain remote asset visibility, configure monitoring rules and optimize business processes through Salesforce flows. You will be developing the Waylay Digital Twin Salesforce applications suite, create extensions to the Waylay platform and support its roll-out with customers.

We are in search of a Senior Salesforce developer who enjoys being a generalist, transitioning seamlessly between development and customer implementation to solve interesting problems and building successful products. This is a full-time position at our offices in Ghent.

You will need to be fluent in creating applications that thrive on strong architecture and good API design. You’re comfortable in dealing with lots of moving pieces; you have exquisite attention to detail; and you’re comfortable learning new technologies and systems. You enjoy sharing your expertise with others. 

Skills & experiences

  • Five years of experience with development, testing and roll out of Enterprise Salesforce Lightning apps via the Salesforce AppExchange
  • Salesforce Certified: App Builder and Admin
  • Highly proficient with the JavaScript language and its modern ES6+ syntax and features
  • Experience with NoSQL database like MongoDB, Casandra and relational databases like Postgres, MySQL
  • Feeling for UX / UI design
  • You have experience with RESTful API integrations
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience utilizing continuous integration and deployment tools 
  • Great communication and team player skills
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills (Dutch and/or French is a plus)
